Depeche Mode

The Videos 86>98

The Videos 86>98 (Mute Film)

One for all the Depecheheads out there this one. A mammoth collection of all of the bands videos since the halcyon days of 'Stripped' right through to the recent single 'Only When I Lose Myself' - plus a 25 minute interview/behind the scenes bit. All in all over 100 minutes of Mode.

As I've already mentioned, the video straddles what I personally would regard as the band's best era: as well as 'Stripped' and the other Black Celebration singles, we have everything from Music For The Masses ('Behind The Wheel', 'Never Let Me Down Again', etc.), and Violater (including their singular finest moment 'Enjoy The Silence', and 'Personal Jesus' of course). Plus there's 'I Feel You' and all the Songs Of Faith & Devotion, then 'Barrel Of A Gun', 'It's No Good', etc. from Ultra.

And that's it really. They're all here - it's a nice little package, and good value for money I suppose. (PB)
